PUBLIC NOTICE

REOPENING OF THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT – PROVIDENCIALES

The Office of the Deputy Premier and Ministry of Infrastructure, Housing, Planning and Development wishes to advise the general public of the reopening of the Public Works Department, Providenciales on Monday, August 24, 2020.

The Office was temporarily closed on August 10, 2020, following notification from Health that a member of staff had tested positive for COVID-19. The officer is in quarantine at home and contact tracing was conducted.

All colleagues of the officer were subsequently tested (negative) and per the Ministry of Health’s protocols, asked to self-quarantine for a period of fourteen (14) days.

The Office was also closed for deep-cleaning and sanitisation in accordance with set guidelines.  

The public is asked to note that additional guidelines will be put in place for persons who access the department on a daily basis. These guidelines will be posted outside the office before reopening on Monday.
