Ministry of Health Announces Commencement of Community Testing for COVID-19
The Ministry of Health Agriculture Sports and Human Services wishes to advise the general public that community testing for COVID-19 commenced on October 22nd 2020.
Please see the schedule below for upcoming COVID-19 Community Testing. This exercise will be operated on a “first-come-first-served” basis and may be concluded early if the daily quota has been achieved. The public is reminded to maintain physical distance of at least 6 feet and to wear a face covering/mask when visiting any of the facilities below:
Providenciales (Drive-Thru): Downtown Ball Park on Monday 26th and Thursday 29th October 2020 between 9:30am-12pm (enter from the rear gate).
Grand Turk: The Gazebo (Pond Street, across from the Office of the Premier) on Wednesday October 28th from 2pm-4pm.
South Caicos: Primary Healthcare Clinic on Wednesday October 28th from 10:00am to 12pm.
North & Middle Caicos: Primary Healthcare Clinics (Kew, Bottle Creek and Middle Caicos) Friday October 30th from 9am-12pm.
Additional opportunities to get tested for Covid-19 will be announced in coming weeks.
Anyone with symptoms or signs of Covid-19 is asked to remain at home and call the COVID-19 Hotline on 232-9444 or 333-0911. The signs and symptoms of COVID-19 are; fever, headache, dry cough, shortness of breath, runny nose, vomiting, diarrhea, joint pain, loss of taste and loss of smell.
Remember to always practice the following safety measures; wash and sanitize hands frequently, maintain physical distance (at least 6 feet apart), cover your cough and sneezes and wear a face covering when in public and avoid crowds.
