TEMPORARY COVID-19 MITIGATION MEASURES

As we collectively do our part to prevent and control the spread of Covid-19, the General Public is hereby notified that effective Friday, march 20^th 2020, The Ministry of Finance will only be admitting a maximum of 10 persons at a time to our offices.

Additionally, our Providenciales Office will be facilitating cheque dropping services.  Persons wishing to utilize this service must not be on the Accountant General’s ‘Stop Cheque’ list and must provide contact details and the relevant remittances and/or vouchers for which the cheques are payable.

Cheque submitted through the dropping services will receive payment confirmations through the contact details provided and should adhere to the following guidelines:

Cheques must be the exact equivalent of the amount payable and errors/corrections must be initialed.

The MOF is fully engaged with the relevant stakeholders and is monitor the progress of its daily functions.  Extensions will be considered where the need has become evident during over the next month.

Further updates will be provided when these measures will be repealed or any further mitigation measures are implemented.
