Virtual live discussion on Covid 19 and Domestic Violence on June 15-17
The Department of Gender Affairs, under the Ministry of Education, Youth, Culture, Library and Social Services, will be hosting a virtual live discussion on Covid 19 and Domestic Violence on June 15-17 nightly at 6pm from the Turks and Caicos Islands Department of Gender Affairs Facebook page.
The purpose of these three powerful, intense discussions is to increase public awareness about Domestic Violence in the Turks and Caicos Islands and to discuss the nature and dynamics of Domestic Violence and survival strategies for our viewers through a multi- sectorial approach.
We will be interviewing motivational speakers, survivors and counselors with experience and expertise to share words of wisdom and hope.
Hosting the discussion for these three power packed nights will be our Gender Officer, Mrs. Cutella Bailey Talbot.
