THE CORONAVIRUS BUSINESS ASSISTANCE GRANT APPLICATION PROCEDURE
The Turks and Caicos Islands Government wishes to advise that eligible small businesses (MSMEs) and self-employed persons are entitled to receive financial assistance of up to $5,000 under the Coronavirus Business Assistance Grant. You are invited to visit the website of the Department of Trade, Industry and Consumer Affairs at: www.gov.tc/trade/stimulus to complete an online application form.
Please note that ONLY applications that are submitted using the Coronavirus Business Assistance Grant Application Form will be processed. Therefore, if you initially submitted a request for assistance via email you will need to complete an online application form. However, if you have already submitted an online application you do not need to reapply.
Self-employed persons are especially asked to note that their applications for financial assistance should be made under the Coronavirus Business Assistance Grant. Applications made by self-employed persons under any other cash grant programme will not be processed. Please visit www.gov.tc/trade/stimulus to view the eligibility criteria and to submit an online application.
The cash grant may be available to eligible small businesses and self-employed persons as follows:
Self-employed persons: $1,200
Micro Enterprises: $2,000 (1 to 5 employees)
Small Enterprises: $3,500 (6 to 19 employees)
Medium Enterprises: $5,000 (20 to 25 employees)
