Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands – Friday, 23rd January 2026: The Department of Trade, Industry and Fair Competition (DTIFC) presents the Breadbasket Price Report for January 2026, a monthly snapshot of staple goods prices covering data collected from January 2-9, 2026. 

We are task with implementing and enforcing the Consumer Protection Ordinance (CPO) which establishes provision for the protection of consumer interest in relation to the supply of goods and services in the Turks and Caicos Islands (TCI).  

This report provides valuable insight into the current market price for essential household items, helping consumers make informed purchasing decisions. 

Key highlights of the report:
 
🔴 Red cells represent the two (2) highest prices for the breadbasket item and associated brand.
 
🟢 Green cells represent the two (2) lowest prices for the breadbasket item and associated brand.
