The Department of Water Undertaking in the Ministry of Home Affairs, Public Utilities and Transportation, regrets to inform the general public that the main water distribution site locate on Hospital Road has been vandalized, and due to the damage sustained, water service to the area is interrupted.
The Department was notified by members of the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force (RTCIPF) at approximately 6:00 am this morning and on inspection discovered the main pipe damaged which halted the flow of water to customers on Hospital Road.
The department has commenced its assessment for repairs and hopes to have water restored by 2:00 pm on Monday 30th March 2020.
