Public Service to Transition to Phase 2B Reopening Program
On Monday June 22nd, 2020 the Turks and Caicos Islands will transition into Phase 2B of its COVID-19 Pandemic Reopening Programme.
At this time, all offices across government including those previously not open will reopen to provide services to the general public and to continue their work programmes.
Government’s operating hours will be from 9am-4pm Monday through Friday with the lunch hour observed from 1pm-2pm each day.
In order to observe the social distancing protocols as mandated by the Emergency Powers (COVID-19)(No 5) Regulations 2020, staff will continue to work on a rotational basis, where necessary, depending on office spaces.
Strict sanitization measures will remain in place to ensure that offices are appropriately cleaned each day.
The use of masks in the office place will remain a strict requirement.
