KEZZIA HAMILTON PROMOTED TO SENIOR HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICER

The Office of the Deputy Governor is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Kezzia Hamilton to the post of Senior Human Resource Officer within the Human Resource Management Directorate. 

 

Ms. Hamilton, after successfully completing high school in 2000, began her tenure within the Turks and Caicos Islands Civil Service as a Clerical Officer within the Public Works Department.

 

In 2007 she attained an Associate’s Degree in Business Studies, along with an additional course in Administrative Corporate Secretaryship from the Turks and Caicos Islands Community College.

 

In 2013, She was appointed to the position of Human Resource Officer within the Human Resource Management Directorate and shortly after, received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies with a concentration in Human Resource Management from the Turks and Caicos Islands Community College

 

During her tenure at the Human Resource Management Directorate, she participated in many training opportunities including; attending the Society of Human Resource Management Conference in June 2017 in New Orleans and various training modules with the Caribbean Development Bank, namely Public Policy Analysis & Management and Project Cycle Management Training.

 

Commenting on her new promotion, Ms. Hamilton stated; “I am so grateful for the opportunity to take on this new role as Senior Human Resource Officer. It has always been a personal goal to excel within the Public Service and I knew this would not be possible without determination and commitment, which I have displayed in my previous positions.

 

“As I take on this role I look forward to the new opportunities and will continue to work hard, making valuable contributions to the Human Resource Management Directorate, Deputy Governor’s Office and the Turks and Caicos Islands Public Service at large.“

 

Her Excellency, Acting Governor Anya Williams in congratulations stated; “It is with great pleasure that I take the opportunity to formally congratulate Kezzia on her recent promotion to the post of Senior Human Resource Officer. She has made a career of being a hardworking and determined member of the civil service team and it is an honour to see her move up the ranks within the Human Resource Directorate, where she has been an asset over the years and has been a key member of the recruitment and public service management team.
