Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands 3 March 2026, — The Health Regulation Authority (HRA) of the Turks and Caicos Islands is pleased to announce the launch of its Professional Development Workshop Series 2026, a three-day continuing education event designed to strengthen clinical practice, enhance regulatory compliance, and support the delivery of safe, trusted, and high-quality healthcare throughout the territory.
The workshop series will be held March 16 – 18, 2026, at the Atrium Conference Center, Providenciales, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM daily. Healthcare facilities and professionals are warmly invited to attend, with the flexibility to participate in all three days or select individual sessions that align with their professional development needs. Participants will have the opportunity to earn continuing education credits upon completion.

Workshop Sessions
Day 1 – March 16: Informed Consent in Clinical Practice — Covering ethical and legal principles of consent, patient communication, capacity assessment, and proper documentation to support patient-centered care.
Day 2 – March 17: Infection Prevention & Control in General Practice — Exploring practical infection prevention strategies, PPE use, environmental cleaning, and reducing healthcare-associated infection risks.
Day 3 – March 18: Documentation & Record Keeping in Healthcare — Focusing on best practices for clinical documentation, confidentiality, record management, and regulatory readiness.
