CORONAVIRUS BUSINESS ASSISTANCE GRANT - APPLICANTS INVITED TO CHECK THE STATUS OF THEIR APPLICATIONS

The Turks and Caicos Islands Government invites self-employed persons and small businesses who have applied to receive funding under the Coronavirus Business Assistance Grant to check the status of their applications online. Applicants should visit https://stimulus.gov.tc/smallbusiness/status and enter their unique online application reference number.

The online database will generate one of four status updates:

  1. Application Received
  2. Application Under Review
  3. Application Approved
  4. Application Declined

For guidance please note the following:

Application Received: means that an application was successfully submitted and is in the queue of applications to be reviewed by the processing team.

Application Under Review: means that an application has been picked up from the queue of applications received and is being vetted by the processing team to ensure that the applicant has satisfied the eligibility criteria and submitted the required documents.

Application Approved: means that following a comprehensive review of the application by the processing team, the application has been approved for payment.

Application Denied: means that following a comprehensive review of the application, the applicant does not satisfy the eligibility criteria or has not provided the required documents in support of their application (following a request sent by the processing team).

Applicants will receive a notice via email in relation to all approved and declined applications. In the case of approved applications, the notice will provide details regarding payment. Whereas, the notice to applicants whose applications have declined, will include the specific reason for declining the application.
